OT: Barre Chords Above The 9th Fret

In what sense difficult? In terms of effort, spacing, action etc, the first fret is the most difficult, so I can't see what your difficulty might be.

not really, every bar chord around the neck is the same effort for me. Some chords i just have to think about. Ive never played a bar above the maybe 12th, figures alittle tight together but it doesnt make it that much harder.

If it's finger spacing that's the problem you could always do the equivalent Barre A shape. It's probably easier on guitars with flatter profiles and wider boards too, Strats aren't the easiest guitars for chords, IMO.

I have big hands. Past the 12th fret I use one finger for two strings if they're adjacent. Works fine for me and I can still do complex, stretched chords easily.

Getting the chord to sound clean. It's mostly minor chords that I have difficulty with. Perhaps it's to do with how I'm actually holding the guitar and my left hand can't get angled properly...

I hate playing 'F' major barre

 

'A' seems the most comfortable to me
