Members Whipper
I've got a Keeley modded TS9 that handles most of my rhythm needs, and a boost for solos, but I'd love recommendations for a fuzz that stacks nicely with the TS9. Thoughts?

Members IRG
Big Muff. I have the Keeley TS-9 too, and love it with my modded Mohomods Russian Muff. I think it works better with Muff type fuzz than fuzz face type fuzz.

I have a Muff...I guess I'm looking for something fuzzier.

Fuzz Factory is high on my list. Some others I was considering: Peppermint FuzzSome sort of SkreddyZ-Vex Box of RockFulltone GT-
Members TechBrother
I find that my Hartman fuzz face clone does NOT stach well w/ other dirt pedals. Does anyone else find this to be true?

Members Lanefair
big muff. for the moments when you get tired of the TS mid bump and the BM mid scoop That sounds like a perfect answer, but surely running a __/"""__ type pedal into a """___/""" type pedal will give you a _______ type sound? Members Whipper
depends on wat kind of fuzz flavor your afterI use a silicon fuzz face in front of my TS So the signal chain is guitar > fuzz face > TS? Does that boost to solo level? Or just change the tone/saturation?
Members Whipper
depends on wat kind of fuzz flavor your afterI use a silicon fuzz face in front of my TS Good question: a bit buzzy, but I don't want all of the "body" of my sound to disappear. The Keeley modded TS9 sounds pretty transparent, so I'd like a fuzz that is buzzy but rich with harmonics and, of course, sustain.

Members Whipper
So I'm just curious: when I use the term "stacked" I mean: "running both at the same time" -- is that the correct usage? I'm just curious about these people saying that they are running various Fuzzes "into" a TS9 -- wouldn't the TS9 sort of mitigate the fuzz -- since it's later in the signal chain? Currently I use a Jekyl & Hyde with an MXR Micro Amp to boost for solos. This works well, but if I want to go from OD (the Jekly side) to a boosted, more saturated sound, I have to do more tap dancing than I care to (engage Hyde side, step on MXR and usually my Boss delay, too). I'm looking for a fuzz that I can put in a loop with my delay so that I hit one button to ad fuzz and delay to the TS9. Thanks

Members TheGareth
Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Classic fuzz. It's a red pedal the same size as an MXR Dist +. Very light fuzz effect and perfect for stacking or cascading.

I'm guessing cascading is what I really meant (a sequence of pedals engaged). Right?
