Members IvIark
Look at it with the PCB at the top. The stomp switch is like this: To make sure the orientation is right there is a link between lugs 6 and 9. If you've got a multimeter check that you're getting continuity between the two white wires first, lug 5 is going to the input socket, lug 8 is going to the output socket. If those connections are ok then you need to check is if the switch itself is knackered. If you get hold of that multimeter and check the following connections are made. With the pedal in the 'off' position: 5 and 6 should be connected 8 and 9 should be connected Switch over to the 'on' position and make sure that both of the above are no longer connected. Now (still in the 'on' position): 4 and 5 should be connected 7 and 8 should be connected Switch over to the 'off' position and make sure that both of the above are no longer connected. The very fact that you're getting no sound out of it in both the on and off states suggests that the problem is in the wiring to the switch and that almost certainly means one of those white wires or if not, the switch itself. If it was a problem on the PCB you'd still be getting the uneffected sound through it when the pedal was switched off.

Members ampman1989
Well if it's any consolation, it's still working fine! glad to hear tht! il get out a multimeter later nd give all that a go. . . but i think it mite be the input not connecting with the lead properly. it doesnt feel particularly healthy when i push the lead in or pull it out
