half-rack boss mounts

I do know that the Boss half-rack delay had a very cool feature of having the delays speed up or slow down in a portamento manner. Also with that 70's-80's Roland sound thing goin on. Great little units and pedal chain friendly.

You used to be able to get them super cheap - like $30 for all the units but the delays, where you might pay $50. That gravy boat might have ended though? They're essentially the Boss pedals of the day but with additional parameter control. The delays have modulation and expression control over the delay time as the previous poster mentioned, but the RDD-10 only has 400ms of time, and the RDD-20 600ms, which is rather short for a digital. I'm guessing the modulation caused this since the 800ms DD-2 pedal had been out for years before the Micro-rack series? I quite liked the flanger and reverb and have heard good things about the phaser and chorus (though it's digital) and pitch-shifter.
