Anybody using a Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Classic?

I've been using one for about a year and highly recommend it. I play at church where there are no guitar amps, just the PA. Because I wanted an amp tone, I tried the tube-driven twin tube. I use it as a preamp, leaving it in the overdrive mode and running a Virtual Sound Jekyl & Hyde right before it. This gives be 4 basic tones. Heavy Distortion and Creamy overdrive with the J&H, slight overdrive with the J&H off and completely clean with both pedals off. If your using a decent tube amp, this pedal may not suit your needs. But if your stuck on stage with only a PA as your amplifier, this is the way to go! I've tried multi-fx units (Line6,Boss,Zoom & Digitech), but I prefer the stomp boxes for dialing in the exact tone I'm looking for. When testing one out, run any distortion pedal right before it, I think you will.....:).

I've had one now for just about a month. I think it sounds great with my Cavin Bolt (HSS strat) in every aspect from chords to lead, but I am still trying to figure out how to get the best sound with my Les Paul. It is VERY good at lead tones on both guitars and interacts well with other pedals. Very nice crunch tone with the carvin. I still like my Fulltone Fulldrive 2 better, but admit that the Twin Tube is more organic sounding. It takes up some space on the board, and for this reason, I may have to pull it if I can't find the right tone with the Les Paul on chords...
