Members theManfromAlabam
I've read somewhere that the DOD FX66 is more of a tonebender than fuzz. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/DOD-FX66-Flashback-Fuzz?sku=150125 Anyway is this true and is are their other alternatives? Members Folky_Grunge
Sorry for the hijack, but can somebody tell me how a tonebender sounds?
Members aaland_brian
well a tonebernder is a fuzz so that doesn't make much sense. If you want to hear a tonebender listen to jimmy page or jeff beck.
Members johnrambo
does the monsterpiece dude make a tonebender clone?

Members ArrMatey
The tonebender by habit doesn't have much bottom end. It's a kind of fizzy sound but works really well to come through the mix in solos. They give a great 60's vibe. Why don't you build one via BYOC. Their tonebender is great!
