Members Coma Larkin
Question for George L's users--do you happen to know where the actual connection is made in the cable itself? Lots of times when switching pedals around, I'll get a cable that worked just fine and then stops working once I rearrange things. Usually, I snip the very end off, reinsert it, and it ends up working again. So I'm wondering where the connection is made--is there something down in the hole that pierces the sleeve and exposes the raw wire, or do you have to tighten the screw down hard enough that it breaks through the sleeve at that point? Does that makes sense at all?
Members thezeng
yeah, there is a needle that pierces the center of the cable, the silver part. mine always crap out too, but you need a clean cut and clamp them down really tight.
