Members easyliver
i was curious about this...i've read different things about and can't believe i'm experiencing it. the short story is, i bought a ts9 mod plus from Robert Keeley back in June/July of last year. Around December it started acting funny, I'd have to tap it an extra time or 2 to get it to turn on/off. NOW, I pretty much have to stomp the thing and pray it does what I want it to do. Anyone ever experienced this? Also, I don't have the paperwork anymore...I wonder if Keeley covers this since I bought the pedal brand new from him...? Members byteblock
Those TS9 switches are known for their limited life span.
Members phishmarisol
I only had one that started doing that and I fixed it myself. It was a bit of a pain but if your problem is in the spring it can be done. Just take off the battery cover and pull up the foam and take out the 2 small screws. That green oval piece will probably have some glue around it but will come up easily with a little tug. Then you can see how the spring attaches to that and the footswitch. There should be a piece of foam inside the spring to make sure the switch engages every time. Usually the foam has been pushed down or needs more added. Just make sure there is enough foam in there and then put the spring back in place (that's the hardest part).
