The Fuzz for Me?

I'm not sure what kind of fuzz pedal I should get. I was originally thinking Fuzz Factory, but I decided its not quite the sound I'm going for. I'm looking to play Experimental and Stoner Rock stuff, as well as some Pink Floyd. What should I go for? Price isn't a big deal, but I'd like to keep it under $250.

witch muff though?

triangle? Rams head? NYC? Russian?

im biased cause i own both but i love the current NYC and the 78 IC muff i have.

i won the ic muff last week on ebay for $100 and im still stoked about it.BARGAIN!

all muffs are good cept teh russians,i only dont like them cause they are boomy and you cant play chords with the sustain on full with em. i do like modded russians,of which i have two.

yessum,im a muff freak.

buy the NYC muff tho,its brilliant!

I've gotta disagree on the part about the Russian 'Muffs, but I might be biased since the green sovtek was one of the first pedals I got, but even the black ones I've played have always held up fine. The Russian ones sound tighter to me and I think they sound even better with chords in a different way. I always have the sustain wide open

i love em all though, I've got a '79 ic muff and  it. Did you get yours yet?

speaking of fuzz faces. what is a good blue fuzz face clone like the one gilmour was using in live at popeii

Gilmour has been using an analogman BC108 sunface on his recent tours, great pedal for pink floyd tones.

The new dunlop silicon fuzzfaces are excellent as well.
