We will hold your order on file unless requested otherwise. If the goods arrive earlier than expected we will of course ship sooner." Estimate despatch date Thu 27-Mar-2008 anyone like to have a guess at what percentage chance that come thursday, there will be a similar message but with an april date? I have similar issues with Banzai though, almost every order I make they're backordered on some parts and they give an expected date to ship them out.... the date comes and goes and I hear nothing, but when I email asking when they'll ship, magically, they've always come in to stock that exact same day and they ship them out straight away. Yeah, Banzai......the last stuff I ordered from them took so long, I didn't even really need them by the time they got here... anyway this is GAK's last chance if it isn't in the post by the end of the week, I'll never bother with them again. I just hate the bull{censored}, that shortages with the distro crap is exactly the same message that you always get. Just be honest and tell me it's out of stock and you won't have them for a month, FFS.... I beggining to wonder if they actually stock anything for the mail order dept. They put the '59 Dano on offer on the site, but never actually had one in so after a couple of months I canceled the order when I found it in a shop. They put the '59 Dano on offer on the site, but never actually had one in so after a couple of months I canceled the order when I found it in a shop.Calling by phone was really good though, they found out the stock and had the item delivered the next day. yeah, It's good idea to ring...I should have done that. They have that video on their frontpage showing their huge warehouse but it has let me down twice. I now call / email them firts to confiorm it's actually in stock. I prefer Thomann or (gasp) Dolphin Music as their website shows real time stock levels. yeah, I've got a fair bit of stuff from thomann in the past...a guitar, a microphone, mic stand, strings etc..but they aren't always the cheapest for everything......dolphin seen ok, but I've always managed to find a cheaper price somewhere else.
