Members Barnabyhuggins
I'm looking to get a customizable cable kit that will allow me to wire my board up nice and clean. It seems that George L's have somewhat gone out of favor. Is there a new kid on the block? Planet waves seem well thought of as do lava cables. I'm not so much looking for some sort of "this cable makes your high end sound defined and articulate" because I think most of that stuff is bull{censored} (Did any of you see the Monster cable vs. Coat hangers experiment?). I just want the least flaky, most reliable, easiest to deal with cables. Also nothing that is garishly expensive. Any suggestions?
Members Mistersuperfly
Lava = $$$$ but the best, easy, sound great, low profile. George L's = Supposedly unreliable, they are a standard though Planet waves = I don't like the connectors, but it's good stuff. Bill Lawrence = Cheap, but good reviews and good company... I think I might order some of these soon.
Members Jules-RM
Core X2 Most don't even know it exists.
Members Barnabyhuggins
Anyone else try Core X2's? Seems like a pretty good deal. Is there any kit that comes with pancake jacks or do you need to buy those yourself and attach 'em? The Bill Lawrence kit doesn't have right angle plugs? Is that a problem or do the "short" plugs do just fine?
