Members lukin
I was looking at the factory presets and noticed there is a rotating speaker emulator (2:2). This seems strange for a delay. Has anyone tried that setting? How does it compare to the Modfactors rotary settings and other univibe/rotating speaker pedals in general?
Members MrNixon
its actually quite good, but not as dynamic as the dedicated units available for that type of sound. you can tweak it to get the speed/texture you want to any degree, but its not quite as touch sensitive. it instantly reminded me of the Charlie Hunter fake B3 guitar tone. the modulation on the timefactor is an added bonus, i'd say. Members slight-return
I haven't tried it. I think it seems strange b/c a lot of times delay is often used synonymously with "echo", but a delay line itself is just n architectural component to time off-set a signal and, depending on how it is specifically configured it can produce a number of effects..echos, simpler reverb, flange chorus, static comb filters, vibrato, etc I remember delay-based units like the lexicon vortex having "rotary" programs as well I'd assume (just assume), it's largely "flange/chorus" based in its approach with twin lines, horn/rotor combos are possible, which can be nice
