Oh sweet Jebus, my Model T finally made it

The thing that would really put me off this amo is that it was endorsed by Kid Rock's guitarists, but to be fair it does look like a nice beast.

How does it sound?

Ha, that's funny. I don't remember that.

The guy from Russian Circles was rocking 2 of em last Friday night and he sounded freaking amazing.

It just showed up today, so I haven't had a chance to take it down to the jam space yet which is always the true test. At apartment volumes I'm loving it, I think. It's my first 6L6 amp, so we'll see how I bond with it.

Treble and presence on 0. Those things are {censored}ing bright as hell.

Hmm. That has not been my impression so far. I was actually running the presence pretty high.

Perhaps the tube compliment in mine has warmed it up or my cab isn't overly bright. OR ... maybe I'm still a little high-freq deaf from the Model Ts at the Russian Circles show on Friday.

On which channel? It's the clean channel that's especially bright.

You're probably right. It was the lead channel that had me cranking the presence up, but that was with 'buckers. Now I'm itching to dust off the strat and see how it responds.

Technical question: are you familiar with the tube schem/layout of this head?

In particular I'm wondering which V positions are which as far as channel 1 preamp, channel 2 preamp, and which are for fx loop buffering.

The guy I got it from had JJ ECC83s in V1-4 and Sovtek 12AX7WAs in V5-6.
