Members mark7171
do you like the Akai Deep Impact or the korg bass synth? both are kind of competion for the other. i like to think the akai is moog level, and korg is the next best . i use a lot of synths on my bass rig. already the syb-3 and ehx micro synth are in the chain. i just cant get the groove of the ehx micro synth. it needs to be replaced with either the akai or korg. suggestions welcome. Members olejason
The deep impact is pretty incredible. It tracks like a dream and has a lot of very different usable sounds. I kinda regret selling mine

Members flippant81
Deep Impact is great. You can get some nice clean sub-octave stuff, some pretty huge filter squelches and everything in between really. you can edit the hell out of the patches and it's set up so you can have foot switchable banks of presets, which is really cool, should you want to switch in a performance. Now, if you could tell me why the hell that got discontinued...
