Members IvIark
Their distortion modeller pedal (can't remember the number) has a rat mode, but I don't know how good it is. For Gilmour you really need a muff, but the reissue really doesn't do it like the old version that he used. If you want a fuzz that nails it much better than the current muff look at the Righteous Tone fuzz, or if you want a cheaper alternative the Moen MO-FM fuzz is a clone. Members TomCTC
tom what are you doing in effects I've popped in and out of here in the past, but now that I'm seriously looking at pedals I've been frequenting this place more and more trying to decide what'd be best to pick up. Plus the people here are a bit more edumacated than the amp forum, so it's fun.

Members IvIark
I think he used a Rams Head for Animal and Wall. And the Cornish fuzz he also used was a modified Rams Head.

Members Rocket Roll
...i think it is because he pushes his so hard, and i cant lol. Why can't you? "Sustain" 100%, "Tone" 40%, "Volume" to unity gain. Where's the problem? Try some other Beringer fuzz, if you would like to experiment.

Members Welladjusted
Why not look into a used rat? They're less than some Boss pedals new, and I'd imagine a non-vintage rat used isn't a hell of a lot more than a new behringer.
Members SG dan
has anyone tried to mod any of the behringers that are in the EH style cases? I wonder if they're surface mount....
