Members johanwastaken
I'm thinking of getting one of these. It looks real sturdy (metal casing and all), the size is right, tuner out is nice and it has also got 2 different swell modes (though it would be nice if someone could explain these to me). I read some reviews here at HC and some say it breaks down often. Is this the case or is it just that people with broken down pedals write reviews? Is it an easy fix? Members Loobster
I've never heard of anyone's breaking down. I love mine. It's the only volume pedal to go for IMO.
Members T Stre
I had one for about 5 months (bought it new) and the cord broke. That was the biggest pain in the neck to replace. I gave up and now I'm getting the Boss FV-
Members johanwastaken
This is what I love about HCFX. 2 people have viewed this thread (excluding me) and both of them replied. Okay so I have one of you saying that it won't break down and one of you saying that it will break down. I read somewhere that the cord isn't actually that hard to replace. What do you have to do? Members TomCTC
Even if the cord breaks, it would take me two seconds to bring it to my local music shoppe and get them to repair it for me. Hell, I could probably try out some new amps/pedals while I'm there. So whatever, its equipment. It breaks, you fix. Done deal. Get one, it's probably the best volume pedal ever.
