Members LSMFT6
Hey fellas,So, i'm looking at the Micro POG and i'm liking what i see, but in the manual it states that i can only use the included 9.6V AC adapter with the pedal. This would really screw up my setup and would be slightly costly to solve, so i'm wondering how important it is. This is my first EH pedal, so you'll have to excuse me. I use the Godlyke PA9 to power the rest of my pedals, and i'm wondering if it would be OK to use it with the Micro POG.Thanks. -Mike
Members amoodymule
...I,ve got one and on 2 different gigs, the damn thing cuts off on me, I am using Pedal Power II. I have discovered that the power cords that came with the PPII seem to work just fine and the cords I got from a local store makes the pog blink, then cuts out:idk:I am not sure about this power supply issue, I really like the pedal and it's ticking me off. I hope my latest discovery of the cord issue is a win situation. I had mine at home and I used a Dunlop 9v and it worked fine, but I plugged in another 9v and got that blinking light and cut off (I am aware that the power is 9v 200ma?)...so I am curious if anyone else is having issues with the micro pog or ? Members amoodymule
What PP2+ outlets are you running the MicroPog with? First I tried the ones on the left and now it's hooked to the farthest right, and the switches under the PPII are/should be set right, we will see at rehersal this week if it's all good. I tried all of them, so far, it seems to be working the way it should. None of my other pedals have had this problem, a SnarlingDogs BlackBawls>Zinky Master Blaster>Digitech Bad Monkey>Marshall Chorus>Boss TU-2>EH Echo #1>EH micro Pog. I've tried the pog in different places on the board and it sounds the same, I prefer it at the end, before the amp. Members erksin
How snugly do those 'store bought' power cables fit in the POG DC jack? That could be your problem right there...
Members amoodymule
You may be correct, that is what I figured, the original power cords seem snug, thanks
Members thatmullingskid
yeah, I've chained it, used the included supply, used slightly lower mA supplies, and standalone 9v supplies (not 9.6) and it's been great each time for me

Members Snufkino
My HG+ has the same thing saying in the manual saying "Don't use any other power supplies other than the one provided." That would be the Boss/Ibanez power supply that came with it then... and it worked fine.
Members LSMFT6
The pedal arrived today. I've gotta say i'm really impressed. Sounds great, tracks PERFECTLY (and i do mean PERFECTLY) and works just fine with a regular power supply. :thu: Oh, and i got it from SweetWater.com. Everything was fine with them, but when i opened the package today . . . there was candy inside

Members LSMFT6
I'm sure you all can spot it. Pedal sounds great, candy was delicious (and probably poisoned, but what are you gonna do?)
