Members mike.sartori
I am playing music off my laptop on my fender champ, it sounds great! No fartiness like when playing guitar.
Members NoirAbattoir
My silverface champ is quite excellent for guitar. I wonder if I could run my MP3 player through my champ...

But if I'm not running stereo, won't I be missing some stuff? Kinda like when your right rear speaker goes out in your car?

Pan it? (or get 2 of them dirt cheap off ebay) Sometimes I run my sub out line from the computer (7.1 builtin to the motherboard, woo) into a guitar or bass amp fx return when I am in need of extra bass. It's really got some analog warmth, eh? The speakers they put in the new ones are really much better suited to audio than to guitar.
Members mike.sartori
I feel like I need to reinforce the wonder and beauty of using the new Fender champ as the mono-music-masterpiece that it is. Even mediocre albums sound fantastic on this amp. Rich, creamy . . . It's like a designer chocolate, or a fine cup of Cappucino. Put on Born to Run or The Joshua Tree, and just lose youself in the warm fuzzy feelings.

I am telling you folks, bad records will sound great, and great albums (like the ones listed above) - , and even some of these (but the happy ones -)

I am telling you folks, bad records will sound great, and great albums (like the ones listed above) - , and even some of these (but the happy ones - ) I misunderstood your post. I thought you meant that a Champ was used on those albums. I didn't realize you were actually playing your records through the Champ. Interesting concept. You might try playing an album that's already mixed for mono, like the original Pet Sounds.
