Do a google search. Any pedal can be true bypassed. Just figure out how the switch works, make it so it is on all the time and hook it up to a 3pdt + led and you are done. Members jorhay1
i like the 808 for boosting a little bit better than the TS9 but to me they're pretty close

Members surfcat
:badump:Um, 799?Haven't tried them side by side but I did try a Keeley TS9 and a Keeley TS808-and the 808 was just a little better to me. Not sure why since they should sound the same right? Maybe psychological. I've read that the stock pedals are the same except for the chip or was it the chip and a couple resistors? I've also read that the 9 is a little grittier and the 808 a little smoother, but I've only tried the Keeleys. Personally, I'd go Maxon-will probably do so-had to send one back though due to a noise issue but I did like it a lot for the day I had it. Members Kyle_64
the ts-808 is a lil warmer then the ts-9 and also about twice the price. alot of people say they sound almost exactly the same but i once owned them both at the same time and i found that the ts-9 was more crunchier and treblelier if thats even a word...? the ts-808 is twice as expensive because major artists like santana, bb king and kirk hammet use/used them because they can afford to drop the big bucks. i bought my ts-9 used for 70 cdn and found a ts-808 right out of the box used for 120 cdn. i sold the ts-9 because it was a sick deal and i do like the ts-808 a tad bit better then the ts-9. basically, just get the ts-9. if your looking for all the technical spcs. there are a ton of sites on the internet thatll help you. Members MacBradley
I'm talking about the original stock ones. What are the differences? Lots more money and a difference that isn't significant to matter in a full band mix.
