After reading Finboy's post about wanting to run stereo, why not post your stereo rig with pics and/or rundown on how you wire it.

I've been considering a stereo rig for a while now too, and would love to see how everyone else does it.

And.... GO!:thu:

I just posted the other day about this, as I have been missing this cool feature. My gear is in my sig, I run the stereo out from my SMMh delay (which is in the effects loop) into a Epi Valve Jr. My main amp is the Traynor YCV50blue. What's cool I discovered about this setup is that all the effects and my Traynor's dirt channel work for both amps. It is one loud/full sound now for sure. Not sure I will always play this way, but I'm lovin it right now. Two tube amps, in one small room, makes for quite a sound.

This is a W/D/W setup, but I do run it stereo (without the middle dry cab sometimes), by running a hotplate on load.

^^^, well, theres a chabillion dollars.

It wasn't always so... BUT... stereo rigs don't need to be so over the top, and can/will likely make such an impact on the tone your gear produces, that it'll motivate one to play more. That is the fun part. :thu:

How bout this all too familiar pic?

I set both amps at about the same level... my chain is

guitar ->

overdrives ->

Stereo Delay -> Dry amp (Valvetech)

V

Chorus -> Tremolo -> Wet amp (Hiwatt)

I also run an AB/Y to the 2 channels on the hiwatt, with the bright channel set a bit louder so that I can jump the two channels for a really solid volume boost for leads etc...

Well here's mine, signal goes like this:

Tuner, comp, micro amp then the ABY.

The mark III is dry with one 10 band EQ in the loop, Tremoverb gets the OCD up front, and the chorus,delay and a 10 band EQ are all in the loop.

I make the split from my Arion SCH-1 out to the amps. I've used A/B+Y switchers in the past and found I didn't really use them for anything other than splitting so a stereo effect serves the same purpose in my case.

it's hard to say because your comparing 12" speakers to 10" speakers and different rateings as well. all I can say is the 10" celestions G10L-35 sound very similar to the 12" greenbacks I have in the jubilee cabinet. The only difference I can tell is the 12" have more bass and project a little further.

Great sounding cabinets either way :thu:
