Members Hardcory(rocks)
do you think I blew them when the fuse went? I got the amp less than a month ago and the guy before me put a brand new set of jjs in it...
Members MegaTom
Usually there's an underlying cause that makes a fuse blow, and it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to say that whatever made your fuse blow could be related to the buzz in your speakers. If it were me, I'd take the amp to a tech asap.
Members Hardcory(rocks)
yeah I just read up on tube biasing and it sounds like the guy who sold me the amp put new tubes in the amp without biasing them, I guess thats what caused them to fail once I tried it out at full power...
