Members Folky_Grunge
I just love the tone on this version of Long Road by Pearl Jam. It's perfect tone to me.

Members pedalboard
I see that "Echoes" up there and I raise you a "Comfortably Numb".Also, Tool's dirty tone is sooo sweet. I just need a wall of 4000 dollar heads to capture the sound. It's all in the playing. I probably won't ever get my idea of perfect tone coming from my rig because I'll never be a perfect player. There's always something to improve on.
Members flump
Einziger? When it comes to "clean" tones I second this. When it comes to dirty tones I am a big fan of Morello's tone.
Members pedalboard
Ooooh. That video of Pearl Jam up there Tasty tone. Great sustain. I love the way the signal tails off. A really puchy sound, thanks in no part to the wall of amps I'm sure they're running.
Members murch33
Steven Wilson's live toneYES. I can't stop listening to Up the Downstair lately. Absolutely brilliant album. For my own stuff, I like my tone to be thick, sludgy, and heavy on the low end. D98L7JZ5I1Q
Members pedalboard
The wah from the second video from DADGAD is just downright nasty! Whew! Anyone know who that is or what wah is being used?

A really puchy sound, thanks in no part to the wall of amps I'm sure they're running. That sound doesn't really come from a wall of amps. Eddie's just running into a Hiwatt, Stone's using a Savage, and I think Mike is using a Fender Twin (or a Matchless).

Members hilikus8
Einziger?Oh yeah, hell yeah! One of the best PRS-Mesa tones. And my favorite Jazzmaster into Vox tone, as well as those marvelous delay, phaser and rotosphere sounds
Members Vedder323
It was cold as hell, which is unusual for AZ... but the rain stopped the second they came out and strung those first chords... for sure one of the best musical moments in my life. PS: This thread can stop now, I got the high score. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-2335321732525819285&q=neil+young+cortez+the+killer&total=115&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=
