Members Faldoe
Yeah seems pretty helpful. Are there any pedal demos where someone isn't playing blues riffs...??
Members wacopacco
yea i'm subscribed to them. I like them and they are really informative.... but i HATE how conservative they are.... they rarely "work" the pedal in the extreme settings. They usually take the most boring/bland/common settings and run with them. And the classic rock, bluesy thing got old quick. but thats all nitpicking. It's nice to hear professional quality vids. Members chrismd465
I think they're great, if not a bit conservative, as waco said.I just get annoyed hearing that same intro lick every time a video of theirs starts

Members The Milkman
Yeah they're great. I used to have to watch the gearwire videos, where the guy takes the pedal out of a box and describes the papers and warranty information that come with it for 5 minutes. Members booher
Honestly, I don't like gearwire or PGS that much. When PGS demos a pedal, it's usually through a really nice amp which is generally speaking already at breakup point. I'd like to hear the pedal at a completely clean and almost neutral setting on the amp. Something like a Blues Junior, AC15, or hell, even a Pro Junior would be helpful in hearing the actual tonal character of the pedal. ESPECIALLY considering that they often use really nice Les Pauls and stuff like that. Simply not realistic for my sound set up. I use an 80s Aria...come on. I mean it's not a staple sounding guitar, but it doesn't hit Les Paul or SG tones, really. It's a bit different of an animal, and while I love the thing, it doesn't sing the same way a really nice les paul might. Although it might work well with that pedal/amp, it's not gonna have quite the same sound to it a high end guitar will.
Members Bob Doom
Anyone else ever get that little intro song stuck in their head? Yup... I love the drum tone... I assume it's a sample... but it's a really good sounding sample... and, yeah.... I LOVE their videos. I've watching them every night around 3:30am. I kinda like how every demo starts with the guy playing a song you associate with the effect.... that's usually what I'm looking to hear. I blame them for my new lust for: Catalinbread Hyperpak Catalinbread SCOD Subdecay Blackstar Keeley Nova Wah Line 6 Roto Machine (even though I already have a vibe and a usable leslie sim)

Members TomCTC
My personal favorite demo is the POG. I don't think I have a favourite, although the first time I saw anything from them was the AC30CC demo. I must have watched it 50 times since. The POG demo is good, but there's a vid of an old man playing an older-style organ themed tune on a Telecaster that just gives the perfect sound. I'm at work right now or I'd find it, you can find it if you search "pog organ", it's near the bottom. I want those settings/a POG to use with those settings. It's a shame that they only have that one and the 65Amps Soho for amp reviews.
