What's the general concensus on Morley wahs?

I use a Bad Horsie 2. I really don't use the contour wah though. I use my wah sort of specifically. I don't do any, rocking the pedal along rhythmically, or whatever you would call it. I usually use it with my Rat, on my bridge pickup, at some high point in a solo or jam. I also use it for effect with artificial harmonics and my whammy bar. Being able to control the switch cut off time, and being able to just step on it when you need it is great. I love mine man. You just gotta get the feel for where the "sweep" is. It's really focused.

I have used an old classic Morley for years, and I liked it way better than the old CryBaby or Vox pedals. Very beefy tone for a wah. It doesn't thin out the sound and there's not a lot of tone suck with it in the chain, as with the CryBaby. If I could find a way to trigger it like a CryBaby or better yet .. the Weeping Demon ... it'd be perfect. Having to step on the switch and then start rocking it is a PITA. :(

i love the fact that the morley wah pedals have a provision for a spring return ! i have the spring loaded my morley wah for years, and would NOT have it any other way. a wah pedal without a return spring feeels dead to me reguardless of tone.

A Morley Wah/Volume was my first pedal. I loved it for 20 years. It doesn't compare with my Teese RMC3LE.

How is the Teese? I keep thinking about one. I have a Vox Clyde McCoy now, and I don't really care for it that much. Maybe I'm not a wah guy though.
