Members willburford
I've always liked the fuzz face sound but the ones have tried have taken my bright, present clean tone and darkened it considerably when clicked on. Especially (mainly) with lower gain fuzz stuff. and it really bugs me. I think a simple tone knob would fix that problem... is there one out there that has it? or a fuzz face that just doesn't alter your guitar signal at all? (I'm running a tele into a pro reverb). thanks!
Members Brujo13
the tonefactor/mojohand huckeberry is a fuzz face type fuzz with a muff tone stack , i havent tried one but the clips sound awesome, and a lot of people rave about them here. im trying to get the HCFX pedal made into a octave fuzz with an octave switch, a bypassable muff tone stack, and a scooped/flat/boosted mids for the tone stack. other wise i get the huckleberry if i can find one
Members Faldoe
I think Analogman's Sun Face is a Fuzz Face clone with a tone knob...don't quote me though. I played a Sun Face and it's awesome

Members ChuckNorris1982
I'll make you one if you want? It's easy as pie to add a tone control to any circuit. Dunno if it'd work out a good deal for you though with the exchange rates being as they are.
Members jay3265E
Frantone's The Sweet has a tone knob. The Ibanez ToneLok FZ7 Also has a tone knob.

Members spaceshot
as said, the Tonefactor huckleberry is a Fuzzface Clone with with an "EQ" knob. I believe it is the typical "Bigmuff tone control" but with no sweet spot. It sounds good everywhere, even at both extremes. Maybe a happy accident or playing around with the duncan tone stack calculator, it has a sound all its own. Not like any other germ/silicon hybrid fuzzface clones I've built or tried. Members willburford
thanks for the tips. I'll check out the tonefactor... sounds really cool. so does that HCFX pedal. had a monsterpiece. also had a fish & chips, but I don't like the idea of clicking two pedals on for one sound (unless it's od + od). takes up too much space. the frantone seems like it might be a bit expensive... and the ibanez I've heard is garbage except for the one setting that is really trashy and cool. chucknorris, I'd take you up on that except Dunno if it'd work out a good deal for you though with the exchange rates being as they are. bummer. I'll look into the tonefactor more. thanks! Members jove
Most important thing in a Fuzz face pedal with tone knob is a tone knob that operates as a bass roll-off.This is less obtrusive to the simple but beautiful tone that a good FF produces and makes the pedal more adaptive to different rigs. Members madhatter
Pedalworx Mcfuzz, its a hybrid fuzz face (germ/sil). I have my share of dirt pedals and its still my favorite.
