Members 1esotericguy
Need to mod an old style Pedaltrain (pre brackets) to get a bit of elevation in the back. Trying to fit a power brick underneath. I was just going to boost the feet or change them completely, but I can't figure out how they are put on there. Rivets? Anyone done this operation before? Members Hamer95USA
Hey 1esotericguy, Why would you want to remove the Pedaltrain rubber feet to mount a Dunlop DC Brick? You're supposed to cut away some of the metal bracket to install with the Dunlop DC Brick or Voodoo Lab PP2+ power supplies. There's a guy on the Huge Racks Inc. & The Gear Page forums (www.hugeracksinc.com) (www.thegearpage.net ) that does Pedaltrain pedalboard mods for power supply installation. His screen name is jakeddy. Try contacting him before removing your rubber feet on your Pedaltrain pedalboard. Guitar George
Members NITEFLY182
I would drill out the rivets and then weld a threaded inset in their place. Then you can add washers and a new set of feet for however much height you need.
Members Mike_S
The pre-bracket mod has been taken down, but if you contact PedalTrain, they seem happy to send it out.

What was the mod that they were suggesting back then? I just got into this pedaltrain stuff.

You can buy "feet" at your local hardware store with plastic bushings. Just drill the appropriate sized hole and tap in the bushing, then screw in the feet. Once you have the materials it should only take you maybe 15 minutes.

Members Jules-RM
As long as you don't jump up and down on them, it's ok. If they are good enough for tables/chairs, it should be good enough for a pedalboard.
Members Mike_S
What was the mod that they were suggesting back then? They give instructions on how best to cut the aluminum to mount a PedalPower underneath without changing feet.
Members Vintage-65
No need to cut up your board. Drill out the rivets, you can get a cheap snap riviter at Home Depot and they also have a ton of feet to choose from that will give you the height you need. Another option is to just screww the feet in Crybaby style.

Looks like I just need to increase the height at the high end of the pedaltrain by a 1/2" to be able to put a Supa-Charger underneath (without it hitting the ground). What's is the standard mod? People cut into their pedal trains? I didn't look at the Voodoo dimensions; maybe it's bigger. But the Supa, should fit no problem.
