Members matt the rat
Maybe if you were more specific in what sort of things you wanted compared between the two pedals, you'd have gotten a reply. Reliability, Sound Quality, Features, Etc. Maybe talking about a specific sound you are aiming for would have worked, also. Then, owners of either of the pedals (or both) could tell you if they think it is what you are looking for. Simply putting "VS" between the two pedals names means, to me at least, that you are simply asking which is better. There isn't any possible way anyone could know which of the pedals would be better for you when they have no details listed about what you want out of your fuzz. Posting it this way is only going to get you answers from people that own/have owned the pedal, and they will tell you their opinion based on how the pedals work for them, and which one they think works better for what they're using it for. Or you wont get any replies at all, as has been the case.
Members willburford
I'm pretty sure they're really different. peppermint = spitty, in your facefuzz head = cross between od/fuzz face, smooth this is only from what I've heard though... I could be completely wrong. I've never played either.
Members Whipper
Well it's certainly worked for me in the past. I prefer an open forum: if someone wants to chime in on the beautiful fuzz he gets from his Peppermint, great. If someone wants to blast the Keeley for taking a dump at a gig, fine. But thanks for the "lesson" on how to post, newbie.

You say it like it's a bad thing. You'd prefer I solicit responses from people who have never played one (and yes, I've seen the response above)? For the record: yes, I'd like to hear from people who have actually PLAYED the pedals, not from people who just read about them online.

For the record: yes, I'd like to hear from people who have actually PLAYED the pedals, not from people who just read about them online. I wasn't saying that, at all. I'm saying that if you don't state what you're going to use it for, people have no way of telling you which would be better for you. There is absolutely no need to get all butt hurt and start throwing insults around, either. I wasn't trying to talk down to you at all, I was just trying to help you out. Also, if you wanted responses from ONLY people who own either pedal, that'd be a detail you should have put in the initial post.

This is sort of amazing to me. I've read lengthy posts/reviews from people talking about how much they love a piece of gear only to have said post end with "I don't own one. I just watched a demo on YouTube and I hope to get one some day." Why would anyone weigh in on a piece of gear they haven't substantially used? So yeah, I kinda feel that this point really OUGHT to go unsaid.
