I JUST got back from seeing Minus the Bear. I got right on the stage afterwards to get the pics. Much to the chagrin of the fat sound guy, but I knew my forum bros would want good pics! Dave's tone is freakin' amazing! But Jake's voice was totally shot! I felt bad for the dude. I hope he didn't do any damage.

Links to the Big Pics: Dave's Jake's

Dave's (FOUR DL4s AND a DD-20!):

Jake's (not too shabby either):

Dave's board is freaking amazing. Is the TS-9 his only source of dirt? The Lonestar must have a really awesome sounding dirt channel but I don't see any foot controller for that.

His tone is surprisingly clean throughout the entire set.

Oh, guitars: Dave played a gold top PRS, a Silverburst Les Paul and an amazing sounding Schecter semi-hollow. I was sold on that guitar! Aren't those pretty affordable guitars? If so, me wants!

Jake played a Gretsch hollow body and a Les Paul Deluxe (mini humbuckers).

I guess humbuckers are better for his style of tapping, but their stuff sounds great on a tele and I think Jake used to use one.

Schecters are awesome, I'm the proud owner of one! and I've always wanted a semi-hollow, was Dave's guitar the C-shaped one or the corsair (more 335-ish)
