Members thomasterrible
I am interested in adding some delay to my high gain amp rig, I am not a big fan of pedals or multi-effects units, but I need a delay and have tried a bunch but the stores around here have not got the TC Electronics Nova Delay in yet. I would like to have reverb and a second delay, and I am thinking about the TC Electronics 350 as it has both plus a few other effects, but in a rack and with dials instead of endless push button menus. Has anyone used these? I am going to have them take a new 350 out of the box for me to try, have not been able to stop by a shop that had a Nova Delay in stock yet. Will be using two half stacks so more than one delay source would be nice, hence buying both is ok if they are good. Thanks:poke:
Members HeartfeltDawn
I used to own the TC M300 and found it a little inflexible. I prefer the Lexicon sound and menu system and currently am looking for either a Lexicon MPX550 or an MPX1 for my reverb and delay needs. In the Uk, the MPX550 secondhand will set you back about
Members thomasterrible
Ok thanks, yes I saw a 300 for 125 usd. The Nova Delay looks cool and has both the regular tap feature as well as just setting the tempo by pushing down the button and playing which seems like a cool feature. I will be using two amp rigs however and am wanting a rack delay to play with. I got a pod xt live, and while it had the pedals and the computer upgrades, it just was not what I wanted. Members HeartfeltDawn
Go Lexicon for the rack. Better reverbs, good options, lots of flexibility. Of the cheaper rack units, I think they're the best.
