Members Testify527
okay, so i cant decide between these 4 pedals for my next OD Coffin Case Blood DriveMarshall JackhammerMarshall Guv'norIbanez TS9 (idk, everyone seems to like this thing a lot, but im not sure) also, on another issue, i would like to know what to get as far as fuzzes and octaves, should i get an Octave Fuzz, or a fuzz and octave pedal separately, which could be more expensive, but more versatile in the long run. heres what im thinking, either get a fuzz factory and a digitech whammy or EHX Micro POG or get and MXR Blue box or a fuzz face or some other crazy thing likes those two. budget isnt really an issue with the octave/fuzz thing but the OD needs to be under $100 if your giving me some other idea besides what i have listed. opinions? all replies are appreciated!thanks people! Members Testify527
Whats your budget? the OD needs to be under $100 but im gonna wait on the fuzz(es)/octave(s) so theres currently not a price range for them. it keeps more options open, im just trying to get an idea, ill really think about it more and have a better price idea when i get closer to getitng them

Members Kayzer
go for the TS-9 maybe you get a Keeley Mod on the bay or SPAM Thread for cheap! For octave check out ZVEX Octave 3 or the fulltone ultimate octave! Great pedals...
Members TomCTC
:poke: haha, whoops. After not being swamped at work and reading your post in full, I'd say that if budget is no concern on an octave fuzz but you need a $100 overdrive, I'd switch that around. Are you going to use the overdrive pedal as your main sound and add the fuzz/octave in for colour? I'd try to spend at least $150 on an overdrive, and buy an octave fuzz in one pedal. I'm looking at a main OD pedal, and so far I'm feeling pretty settled on the Clark Gainster.. I would definitely check that guy out, great natural sound for $139. For an octave fuzz, I dig the MXR Blue Box. But you're only going to get an octave below with that one.
Members homestar_kevin
for octave fuzz stuff... do you want it to sound like the blue box... because honestly only the blue box sounds like the blue box. If you want both separately then that is a whole different story and won't get as glitchy to the point the blue box does.
Members jake.lind
I would recommend you switch around the price tags on your pedal expectations. I think you'd sound a lot better with a $230 overdrive/distortion pedal and a $100-150 fuzz pedal (if you're dead set on the fuzz factory action, you can get a vexter for about $150 on eBay). Actually, I have the perfect OD/Dist in mind: http://www.mindspring.com/~j.blackstone/ It's awesome.
Members jake.lind
Oh, also, if you want some crazy octave up sounds, the Danelectro French Toast is a GREAT octave fuzz for cheap. $40 shipped or less cheap.
