So I know hardly anyone cares, but...

Red Wings won the President's Trophy tonight, and they're seeded first for the Stanley Cup.

I love my team.

I often wonder why people don't watch hockey as much as other sports. It's got the nonstop play of soccer, the hard hits of football, the incredible diving glove saves of baseball, and the occasional boxing match. What's not to love?

Hockey fan here.

You make me warm and fuzzy inside to know I'm not alone.

I'm from California, though, and out here hockey fans are rarer than hen's teeth. My fiance is a Kings fan, but they played gawd-awful this season and she's Red Wings second.

Sharks are looking to upset the series for sure, though.

Who are you rooting for?

I don't really have a main team I root for. I'm from Ohio, so I love watching Blue Jackets games. Hopefully they'll do better next year.

I do love the Red Wings, so I'll probably be rooting for them. :thu:

I like hockey, but of course there's no way to watch it in this country unless you fork out for Sky (cable).

LA Kings fan here. :poke:

that's {censored}ty, we get it here....only once a week, but it's live. :thu:

because of the time difference we only ever get east coast games, so I don't see the sharks as much as I'd like.

You guys have a league over there, don't you?

yeah, I used to watch the 'Manchester Storm' when I lived up there. It was mainly Canadian players. That was like the 'super league' or whatever it's called now (elite league it's called now I think)..there are also smaller leagues, my local team plays in the '

English Premier League'...there's also the English National league below that.
