Members Teahead
Now that I've finally fixed my internet connection and got the hell out of using AOL's browser, I've settled with Firefox. But, I find the text to be very thin and would like it to be more bold. I can change the text size ok, but that's not the issue, it's the weak font that troubles me. Anyone know how to adjust this in Firefox or XP? Cheers.

Members Teahead
Ah, cheers mate. I see it only alters the font in gmail and such and doesn't change the appearance of this forum and others. I suppose I'll need to look in the control panel here and see of I can make it better that way. Thanks!

Members Servant
Man, you have got to go to the Firefox website and get you some plug-in skins. I use a skin on mine called PimpZILLA - pretty freaking funny.
Members T Stre
Did anyone get the firefox April fools joke played on them? It was a plug-in that removed all vowels from the pages your were viewing, changed your inbox in Gmail to 666...I can't remember what else. Pretty funny, once I found out what was going on! Members johanwastaken
Problem is that sites where it doesn't work don't support the web standards. You shouldn't set an exact font size, but some people do. Hold CTRL and roll your mouse wheel up or down. That will increase the overall text size, but only on sites which correctly specify fonts in %.
Members cdawzrd
If your text looks "thin" and you're using a LCD monitor, it could also help to make sure your hinting is setup correctly. http://www.microsoft.com/typography/ClearTypeFAQ.mspx
