Members mike.sartori
The new one seems a bit more versatile than the old one, a little more control, but I am wondering what the signature sound of this pedal was like? How does it compare with, a russian muff, perhaps? I am highly anticipating this pedal, need something to help cope with the GAS pains!

Dunlop website says the first of July. : /. I'll probably be buying one though, they sound pretty neat.
Members dap99
Seems like a Big Muff derivative. I was just looking Here and found a lot of info including schematic. I think that BYOC offers a "Pickle Mod" kit w/ their Beaver kit. I bet the guys at the forum there know everything about this. I put the Red Llama circuit on a breadboard and played it through my POD/DAW setup last night. Sounded cool, but I'll wait until later when I get it through a tube amp to make a decision. The Red Llama has that huge hex-inverter chip, right? My buddy tried to put one of those together, but he didn't have exactly the right chip, so I don't think it sounded right. I heard it's supposed to have a real fender tweed sound.
Members whoismilan
On thomann.de they say April 11th for the Swollen Pickle MkII, and 10th for the two others. I don't think they're usually that much off on their dates. If the Pickle is a Big Muff with more of everything in a smaller box, I'd be pretty interested in it. I like the samples of the Fat Sandwich on the Way Huge website also.

Maybe, when I use my POD, the main models I use to test things out (when the wife is sleeping on the couch) are the Twin, JTM45, and a Line 6 "Super Clean". I really liked the way it sounded w/ the Twin - gave it a kinda old school Marshall sound, but I can see how it could also sound like a Tweed Fender. W/ the JTM45, it was a really nice lead tone.My home tube amp is an Epi Valve Jr. which never ceases to amaze how good it sounds w/ pedals! Especially dirt. I'll post a "review" later. The old ones are supposed to be a bit different from a regular big muff, instead of regular transistors, it has this 14-pin transistor chip, which is supposed to be the same as 4 transitors. Probably very evenly matched.

Members houseofglass21
It has a ton of bass (too much) and barely any midrange (very scooped), completely useless in a band setting. I guess the new version corrects these problems.
