Members letsgocoyote
I must admit, I'm not huge into recording. What would be a good inexpensive way to record pedal clips? I'm thinking the Behringer GDI21 SansAmp copy, striahgt into computer sound card? Or cheap mixer and mic, into soundcard? Other options?
Members amp_surgeon
I wouldn't go with a DI interface of any kind. People don't listen to pedals through headphones. You need that big speaker and a power amp behind it to really show off the tone. Recording into your computer is fine, but at least get a decent mic. You can get an SM57 for under $100. If you can afford to spend a bit more, then spring for a decent "front end" for the A/D process. You can get an M-Audio Fast Track USB recording interface for about $200. Members mueller
i use a 57 into a behringer mixer, straight into the line-in of the soundcard with good results.
