Members TheGareth
Which of these pedals do you think would get me closer to a Dumble like tone? Any other suggestions are welcome too, as long as I can get the pedal in the UK.

Members johnrambo
i don't know what a dumble really sounds like but the small fry is an awesome, versatile swiss army knife overdrive pedal.
Guest Guest
I tried the HAO, and did not like it. The Small Fry is awesome, so I got that. I've had it a year and a half. Dumblish it will do, amongst others. Extremely versatile. Very warm and smooth, and works great with all my other pedals. Can't beat it for the price. Yes it seems that the Rumble Mod is very difficult to get sounding right for your amp. I'll probably go with the Small Fry. The other good thing about the SF is that you are supposed to be able to get a Tweed like sound from it, which should be good for Steely Dan era Larry Carlton tones. Members jgyn
I like the HAO Rumble Mod with my Fender DRRI. It has a sort of 'hollow' sound that works well with black panel Fenders.
