Members Holey Lint Trap
So I am looking at some overdrive or distortion pedals that are slightly different than the norm. I basically want something that can go from light crunch to pretty decent gain without losing the tone of the guitar. I have been looking at the BoR, the Screwdriver, and the Teaser Stallion. But I would like something that is very versatile but also manages to create some unique OD tones... Yes that sounds vague but any of these fit the bill and any other suggestions? Members C Fuzz
Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive has that blend control to mix your clean with drive. Never played one but it sounds really cool I think.

Members IvIark
You're not going to get a unique OD tone out of a single OD pedal because they've all been used before. If you want something unique try stacking two in parallel with a Boss LS-2 in mix mode. Layered overdrive or distortion can get pretty unique. Maybe a bit of overdrive on top with a slight fuzz in the background just by using the LS-2 gain controls

Members Holey Lint Trap
I should add that I will be playing with my Fender Strat through a Fender Blues Deluxe, so that might take away some options (OCD, Klon (lol))... Members SharkMinusBear
if you want versatile and unique, go with the screwdriver. It does light to medium OD, distortion, and fuzz.

It'll give you the most unique and versatile tones out of all of them.
Members mischultz
The Menatone pedals are killer boxes in this regard as well. Each is configured a little differently, but whether we're talking presence, sag, cut or bite, the additional EQs beyond the basic tone controls are very effective in taking things from mild and mellow to biting and insistent regardless of gain. I have - and love - the Red Snapper and am trying to decide between the Blue Collar and Foxy Brown to pair with it. I'll readily admit that Brian Mena's gain is what my ear hears as good gain, so take that into account, but do check them out if you have the chance. I dunno if you could find one under $200 though. By far the best OD pedal I've ever played though.
