Members Belt
) Got the idea from fellow forumites. It's tremendous. I hate velcro. But I don't have any yet. Anyone :poke:

Members mynameistaken
Bobby pins work better actually for boss pedals. and whats nice is you can just loosen them a little and your pedal pops off. Just take a bobby pin and cut off the ends.
Phil O'Keefe
IIRC, I spent all of $11 at a local Ace Hardware store for a bike chain and a chain repair tool... Alternative suggestion: Go to a local bike shop and ask if they have any ruined chains, and a chain repair tool you can borrow for 15 minutes... Total cost (if you're lucky): $0. Members monkeyland
yeah if your local bike shop is anything like the one that i went to they will have little bits of chain around. i just told them what i wanted to do and they were intrigued enough to let me use thier link tool to take some apart. try to do more than you think you will need so you don't have to go back. Members slight-return
I'd be kinda shocked if a bike shop wouldnt just give you the extra links -- there is almost always some left over when you fit a new chain If the LBS doesn't work out shoot me a PM, bicycle is my primary transport, so I can dig through the spare parts box and crack off a couple links - but give the LBS a shot first, they can be some good guys and their tools are right there anyway

You can get a chain-link tool for about $3 and a can of de-greaser for about $5. From there, go to your local bike shop. They probably have a big box of broken chain pieces. They were happy to give them away to me.
