Members IRG
I have a Small Clone now, nothing wrong with it, other than it clips sometimes if I am playing more enthusiastically. Just looking for something new, may still keep the SC as well. Two pedals that seem good are the Mind Bender and the MXR M134. Niether or inexpensive, certainly you can spend more. The BBE I could get used for maybe $100. I like the fact the BBE has a vibrato side, but I really like the MXR having tone controls, could do a lot with that. Other chorus pedals I should consider in this price range? List pros and cons, stay under $200. I have a Boss CE-3 now, it's ok, just want something "more". Don't really want to go vintage either. Members TomCTC
I tested out a Mind Bender and an OD-3 yesterday, I wanted to see what it had over the EHX Clone Theory. Needless to say, the Mind Bender sounds great. Thick choruses, amazing vibrato sounds, and the enclosure doesn't looks as cheesy in person. It's most def going to be one of my main mod pedals. I would suggest it!

I haven't tried the Clone Theory, have heard too many negatives (is it analog or digital?). I had the Stereo Electric Mistress (more flange than chorus) and I didn't care for it (that one is digital). I've been impressed with the offerings from BBE, may also get the Two Timer. Members IRG
Any comments on the MXR Chorus? I've heard varying opinions. I like the concept of it, the clips sound pretty good (over crappy PC speaklers) but i don't have a local dealer, and it isn't inexpensive. I'm specifically wondering how effective the tone controls are on this pedal. Seems like adding extra bass could warm up the effect some more which I would like. Members IRG
Also, I've wondered about the Carl Martin Classic Chorus - seems like it would be good (analog isn't it?) good price, but it doesn't get much attention here, why not? I see the Carl Martin Classic Chorus (it is analog) was an Editor's Pick this month in GP magazine. Seems like a cool pedal, different from what I have. Not a bad price either at A$126 new. Anyone have one?
