Hello,

My main instrument is the guitar and I produce my own music (PC drum software, guitar, bass, keyboards).. I believe that there are lots music producers in here who play diff instruments..

I was searching for a new guitar multi fx and I saw the Line 6 POD X3 Live; I saw that you can use a bass with that multi fx because it has bass amps and cabs models... this is great for me when recording bass.

so my question is, has anyone in here have used or heard this multi fx with a bass?

Thanks in advance

I haven't tried the POD X3 live for bass, but I'm sure that some of its settings will work for bass.

The old bass POD's were pretty decent IIRC. I'm sure with upgraded models etc. the X3 will be fine.

But, it's worth considering dedicated solutions like the Sansamp bass driver DI or the behringer copy thereof (which is heaps cheaper and of crappier build, but if you're only playing bass in the studio the build is of slightly less concern).
