Members Agreed
I'm getting pretty hyped about some of it. I wish they would make a Cool Cat version of the Black Licorice Beyond Metal distortion... but maybe Supervelcroboy can do it one better when I get the stuff together for him to rehouse one

Members bowlingshirt
going through and listening to all the demos was almost unbearable. they're so trebly, especially the metal ones, that my ears almost bled I've noticed that, too. However, I'm guessing that is a result of the guitar & amp, and not the pedal itself. Could be wrong, tho...

Phil O'Keefe
if ya need any help.....I can probably handle it ... but OTOH, I do occasionally have folks stop by for a day or evening to check things out and this might be a good candidate for that. Do you produce enough high gain stuff to give a decent treatment to the high gain pedals? Not calling your expertise into question, just questioning the extent of your expertise
Phil O'Keefe
It varies Agreed. I do all sorts of different things, and it just depends on what's on my plate at the moment. Right now I am not in the middle of any "loud young band" projects (as one of my friends calls them ), but I do them on occasion, along with lots of other genres - blues, folk-rock, Americana, powerpop, punk, jazz, funk, occasional old school R&B, classical - pretty much anything except rap / hip hop. Well, regardless, I value your opinion and look forward to reading your thoughts. I'm pretty excited, personally, about this line of pedals, having had excellent experiences with Danelectro gear in the past.

Members digdog
I tried all of the coolcat pedals a few weeks ago at the frankfurt trade fair. They all sounded decent but the drive pedal just stood out. I mean it was not about the price, it just sounded great to me. Its was going through a 2-12 tube amp.The pedal performs dynamically. When you hit it hard it crunches but when you play soft its quite clean and the cleanup is graceful. Great for anyone looking to play overdrive leads and then jumping into chords.I was told they will be out in Europe by the summer so stateside probably Spring??
