Members dan-o-guitar
I had a buddy years ago who was crazy about his Mutron Phasor II. I've been looking at the inards recently. Any love for this?
Members Fender&EHX4ever
I don't have any Mutron, but I wish I did. They just look so damn cool. Great colors Kind of like Easter eggs. http://www.mu-tron.org/list.html

Perhaps teh Beavis can produce such a wonder? Side note - thus far my day off has been fruitless except for mailing my tax returns. I need to do something about that. Members DonaldDemon
I have the Original Mutron Phasor.Well, it's not actually mine but someone is letting me borrow it for a year now. It sounds like the best damn phaser I have heard yet. If it wasn't so big and had that damn power cord I would use it on my board.

Members friction
I have a Phasor II...and it is really the only modulation pedal I use (and need). I'll post a pic of it later tonight.

Members Jumbo Fuzz
I have the Original Mutron Phasor. I saw Birds Of Avalon in a tiny dive a few weeks ago (for the second time), and one of the guitarist was using this in front of her amp. It sounded unbelievably good. Members Fender&EHX4ever
wow! thats pretty:love: Totally! I'm a sucker for a lot of the 70s' colorfully tacky designs, especially the stuff that tried to look futuristic. Mu-Tron reminds me of that. Members pbone
Send me $200 I'll think about it. I have money saved up for a GK in a little money clip for that purpose specifically, but the lack of information makes me hesitant to make any purchases. He has the enclosures, so it really shouldn't be too far off. Enough about this though, Dan-o, where are you going to get a Bi-Phase?

Members friction
As mentioned previously, here's mine... I found it in a local pawnshop of all places. My camera died right off the bat so here's the only shot that made it. On top of being a ridiculously good phasor, if you turn the feedback down or off you can cop a cool vibrato impression out of it.

I think its farther off than you think. Two versions will be out. One with the stuff from V1 and a new one with the CV and audio control out and stuff like that for extra scratch. The V1 will be the same price as before but the other one will be more like $369 or something.

Members NITEFLY182
If you do the biphase, the graphics need to involve hot lesbians and the whole thing needs to be at least 50% bigger than the original with every knob the size of the giant MXR style ones. Members Destructobot
I had a Phasor I. It sounded really good, but didn't have a feedback control, and only had 3 depth settings. I'd love to have a Phasor II, since it basically just takes that good sound and adds the missing features.
Members NITEFLY182
I think the phasor II is the one in question here. Building it without the feedback and a few extra options would make it too pedestrian to be successful.
Members gtrwiz
The Phaser I & II are different designs... The Mu-Tron Phasor used transconductance op-amps for the variable element at a time when most people were using FETs. the Mu-Tron Bi-Phase, which was actually Newmans idea. We made it with photo mods because we wanted a really wide dynamic range. After the Bi-Phase we made the Phaser II, which was one-half of a Bi-Phase with only an oscillator sweep control.http://www.beitec.com/stomp.htm
