Members Belt
Looks like a dpdt. 4 solder lugs. A tremendous amount of electrolytic caps.
Members SUPER VELCROBOY
shouldn't be a problem. Try jumpering across the lugs to keep it on and put it in a new enclosure and you're done.

Members SUPER VELCROBOY
I want to upgrade as well as rehouse. New pots / jacks / true bypass. those are pretty straight forward. I didn't bother mentioning them because i assumed that is just what people usually do anyway
Members IvIark
Behringer pedals are a pain to true bypass because the input and output sockets are normally soldered to the board. You'd need to de-solder them and mount them separately (or replace with Switchcraft) to allow you to toally bypass the board with a 3PDT stomp switch. You could use the third pole of the stompswitch to wire in a new LED.

Members Instrospection
Out of curiosity, wouldn't all this time and work be better invested, in, say, paying a bit more for even moderately more expensive pedals like a Boss? Boss pedals are more easy to mod, there's tons of mods if you don't like the stock sound, they're built way better, and for an added bonus, you know that your pedal isn't, you know, Behringer. Besides, if Dr. Frankenstein made his creation out of Behringer, it would probably speak German, but not before it cacked and laughed at you for the money that you spent on it's meagre existence
Members Liberty Belle
the switch isnt a dpdt its like a boss tactile switch.also you would need to bypass the buffer to TB it,not a simple task.

If your logic is correct, then we all should just quit reading this board and play more Sometimes, it's just fun to mess with these cheap effects. There is a lot of learning that can be done from tearing these things apart. Sometimes you can save money too. Of course time is money, but some people have more time than they do money. On the tu100, it took me 1 jumper to do it. You don't have to bypass the buffer to bypass the pedal. That's a different issue.
Members IvIark
also you would need to bypass the buffer to TB it,not a simple task. Why would you have to bypass the buffer? It's irrelevant if you're taking the whole PCB out of circuit

Heh, I was just being a bit funny. I even have a Behringer VT911--great pedal--plus it's got a dpdt, I think. It's just a bit interesting to see ways that people want to hide their Behringer..... Members NoirAbattoir
it's just a soft dpdt or a spst Really? The buffer seems to be pretty rad in my multi effect. No need for TB, really.
Members Belt
I have some and can get a lot of info from the folks over on Aron's site. I find everyone over there I've "talked" to very helpful. Plus there are some extremely knowledgeable folks here too. Andreas for one. I know SVB has been successful and I enjoy gleaning from them. I have done many mods and over 10 builds (with bought PCB's). I know I can manage this one. I just didn't know what to expect when I opened this up.
