Members dap99
So as some of you know I've been making and selling tiny tap tempos and TB loop footswitches to raise some extra money as the wife and I shop for houses. I wanted to try painting enclosures and here's what I've got. The first few I've done all have minor imperfections (uneven coat of Polyurethane, minor dings, etc), so hopefully I've figured all that out. Anyway, I thought the color looks really cool - almost a quilting effect. Here's a link to the BIG pic: Jumbo And here's the smaller pic:
Members TomCTC
Cool stuff. You use poly to clear coat?Just taking notes for when I paint mine. I figured I could do a spraycan kind of thing over the base.. I don't know. I just hope it turns out alright! haha. Looks great though.

Members dap99
looks good man Thanks guys. I pretty much went by Dano-O's page HERE I can't remember the name of the spray paint I have, but it's the kind that goes on w/a texture (there's a pic of a toolbox on the label). We had an extra toaster oven around so I used that. Not the best ventillation in my basement, so I'll have to work on that - there are windows, but I don't know when they were last open. Cool page, good tips. I was thinking taking that box that you already have from Toadworks, and painting on it with the paint you normally use for model planes/cars/whatever from the local hobby shop. Once that's done and dry, give a few sprays of this and be done with it.I'll have to do a search on pedal painting once I actually sit down and am ready to do it, though. I'm probably all wrong. haha
