Members slight-return Posted April 17, 2008 Members Share Posted April 17, 2008 What's the power specs? there maay be some options -- one possible option, for instance, would be to run a UPS usually meant for computer operations (they are essentially motorcycle batteries and an invertor) While a simple fix, i has some overkill (and associated inefficiency as you are going from an invertor then to a step-down xformer...which is two steps forward, one step back) so if we figure the power requirements...an appropriate supply could be set up Q: are you comfortable with basic electronic fab (soldering, etc)?
