Members rinkrat6821
I think this may be the fuzz I have be longing for..It sounds ridiculously badass, but I haven't got the opportunity to play it myself. Anyone own one or played one before? Please give me all the feedback as possible because I'm probably going to drop money on one tonight or tomorrow. Thanks. Members SharkMinusBear
I'm trying to get one too, I'll probably buy one as soon as Tonefactor gets them back in stock. My mayo is nice but I want something that's less smooth sounding.
Members DylanWilde
Dan Auerbach from the Black Keys uses one, so I imagine if you check out some of their material you are bound to hear it in action.
Members rinkrat6821
The Black Keys are one of my fav. bands so thats badass. He has the fuzz tone that I admire most. You can order them off of earthquakers site can't you?

Members IRG
I've been thinking about getting one too, but I love my modded Russian Muff. Not sure how similar or dissimilair they are to one another. The Crimson Drive is another one of their pedals I would like to try.
Members rileykill
Yeah the Crimson Drive clips sound awesome. I've tried the trems (kept the Pulse Machine) and was impressed with both of them. I'd love to get my hands on one of the dirt pedals.
Members rinkrat6821
the hoof i heard is modded after the green russian muffs but with better versatility. if you're in love with your green russian I don't think It could get much better. I on the other hand do not have one...lol. I think I'll grab one tonight.I'd like to hear more reviews though. How is it in comparison to american muffs? Members rinkrat6821
thank you my friend:thu: Unfortunately, I'm only wanting one, which is also a cheaper price. Thanks for looking out..
Members JVanDe7
you may also want to check out the Earthquaker "Dirt Transmitter" if you are looking to push your Twin into badass fuzz territory. It's a fuzz too, but with an overdrive quality that can supposedly push a maxed amp into a raging kickass fuzz. check out the sound clips. http://www.earthquakerdevices.com/limited/dirt/index.html

Members rinkrat6821
Well whats the major difference between the hoof and the dirt transmitter. It says that the hoof can do anything from overdrive to full out fuzz and that seems to be the same for the dirt transmitter...what characteristics are different? Is the dirt transmitter used to push an amp into natural overdrive? because my twin will def. not get there without kiling me and the rest of the band.hahah. Members adamflybot
I think that Dirt Transmitter is exactly what I'm looking for. Nice find! I'm seriously considering putting it after my Fuzz Factory
Members Destructobot
I had a DT for a little while, it's WAY different than the hoof. The dt isn't as compressed and muffy, it's more raspy, sputtery, more overdrive qualities to it. Granted, I've never tried a hoof, but I'm assuming it's similar to other bigmuffs
Members JVanDe7
man, i want them both. i'll probably buy the dirt trans first and just sell it if i don't dig it. then grab the hoof fuzz either way.
