So sleepy... I just picked up my Adrenalinn II, but...

There are some pretty sick filter effects with this thing. There's a bit of a learning curve to adjusting things, though. I've been getting lost in the filters for a while. Some very interesting arppegiators, too. At low volumes, the amp sims sound pretty good through my amp, actually, though I'm sure I would want them off at practice volumes.

The more I tinker with this thing, the more I like it. So many cool effects and sounds. There's a learning curve, though, and I really hate that then it comes to effects. I just wanna get going. The drum machine actually sounds pretty damn good through my Shiva at lower volumes.

No, I posted it for sale before I made this post. I may just keep it. I just hate having to invest time into learning how something functions. I'm impatient, I suppose.

It also sounds {censored}ing awesome with fuzz or my RC boost in front of it.

Ok, it may not need a TB box. There is a control for the input signal. After I upped that a touch it actually sounds pretty good when engaged and when bypassed. I wish the owner's manual was a little more explicit.

The yahoo forum is difficult to sift through. Anyone have any other online resources I can use? I'm really starting to love the sounds I can get with this thing.

Man, this thing is sweet. It's not for sale anymore. I just need to learn a bit more about the functions. I don't understand why more people aren't using one of these on their board. It's loaded with awesome effects and sounds with such a small footprint.

Probably because, like you said, it's a bitch to figure out. I've got the first one. It sounds killer, but programing it is a major pain in the ass.

I love mine, and use it a ton for recording! I haven't figured out how to turn the drums off permanently, every no and then they just start when I hit the switch, and that keeps me from using it live...

So what does it actually do?

It's a drum machine, effects processor, and amp simulator. It has a ton of modulation effects, delay, and filters (beat synced apeggiators). All the effects are very tweakable. You can use the effects on the drums, too. It's been used traditionally as a recording tool, but I'm finding the tones are killer just as an effects processor on my pedalboard. I am going to build a mini-tb loop box for it, though.

I'm about to set up my board and take some pictures when I'm done. I've been running it straight into my Shiva today with some success, I will give it a go tomorrow at practice with my Supersonic.

So what does it actually do?

What really sets this pedal apart is that you can sync the effect rate with the drum tempo and pattern. So you can get swing tremolo or reggae-rhythm phase. Pick a setting, engage the effect, like tremolo or delay, start the drum machine, and twist the drumbeat knob to a different beat and just listen to how your effect changes. Totally far out. Yeah, the pedal takes time to figure out, but with so many sounds in such a small footprint, is that really a surprise?

You can also sync the effects with any other MIDI clock, but I haven't gotten into that.
