Members Saturnine10
I'm so stoked that i was able to pick of one of these Pq-4's!!! These eqs are getting harder and harder to find these days.. I already have a Ge7 with the sniper mod, but i feel as though it works best (in my case) dialing in my distortion sound.. The Pq-4 will be used as an overall eq and i'm going to be putting the Ge7+dirt box in a TB loop.. I'm happy now!! Big thanks to Loosegroove, he's the man!! Members TheGareth
Very nice, I saw this on the Bossarea site. Is it more versatile than the GE-7?
Members gambit
i used ot have the bass version.. PQ3b maybe? anyway, they are scarily powerful eq's you'll find yourself making silly amounts of cut or boost, and then you'll be tweaking the knobs far too much unless you have an express purpose in mind for it..? Members Saturnine10
I do.. To my ears, my amp and setup had just a little to much mid-lows which was kinda making everything muddy.. If i dialed in the ge7 to take care of that on the clean then my dirt wouldnt sound as good and visa versa.. This way i can use the pq4 to cut the low mids (leaving it on all the time) and then use the Ge7 to handle eq'ing the dirt pedals i have.. Works like a charm! I gotta rearrange some things on my board now though.. i used ot have the bass version.. Members Saturnine10
I wouldnt say its more versatile, its just a different type of eq that seems to suit my needs better than the Ge7.. They are both amazing pedals esp. with the sniper mod on the Ge7.. Very nice, I saw this on the Bossarea site. Is it more versatile than the GE-7? There're rumors that owners of these rare *-4 pedals become rare themselves, if you know what I mean...

Members jgyn
I have a PQ-4. It never leaves. I sell it at pawn shops, leave it at bus stops. Even threw it into the ocean. It reappears, somehow, in the box under my bed.
