Members english_bob
They look much the same as the old ones except that the VC30's got Jensens now as well. I tried out the VC15 back when I was last amp shopping, and it's very nice- a lot of amp for the money BTW, you seem to have crashed the Laney site

Members seajay
So are the changes pretty much cosmetic? I like the old school Laney logo on the Lionheart amps.

Members TheGareth
Looks pretty nice, although it would be good if they added a master volume to them.

Members snakum
I'd love to score another LC-50. I friggin love this amp. It's like the pair of Bad Monkeys I gigged with so long because nothing ever bested them. Since I piced up the LC-50 a couple years bac I've been though a couple Mesa halfstacks and combos, my beloved Classic 30s, a Ceriatone DC30 (Matchless clone), and a JCM combo and nothing has come close for classic rock, southern rock, and blues gigs. One of the deepest, warmest clean channels this side of a Mesa F-50/100 ... nails SRV when driven with a Bad Monkey or the TS mode of a MojoDrive ... and an awesome thumping Drive channel that does everything from old Bad Company to Molly Hatchet to Van Halen to Stone Temple Pilots. Laney builds one {censored} of an amp. If I found a second used LC-50 in any condition I'd trade my Ceriatone for it straight up.
Members seajay
pretty much although, I did read something about some pre-amp design changes in some of them.. Cool, thanks for the details. I had a VH100R but I thought it sounded too bright, even after a tube change. Also, it's too bad that the Laney dealer/support network in the US is so lame. They just don't seem that common over here.
Members dotlikeimpact
melx, I'm another vc30 2x10 guy. I've got the old HH speakers, though. You ever tried your with an extension cab? I'm thinking about adding a 1x12 for extra low-end and (hopefully) some more headroom.
Members byteblock
are laney amps made in some 3rd world {censored}hole also? I'm trying to determine what products are made in reputable countries. I was interested in VOX amps until I found out they are Chinese made. Members LewishamInnit
Hi, I bought a VC15 a few weeks ago and it's the best amp I've ever had. Looks good, quick and easy to dial a GREAT sound in (I'm thinking blues or rock) and really loud for only 15 watts, easily giggable in a pub etc. I traded in my Peavey Classic 30 for it, no competition. They're quite hard to find though, even in the UK.
Members snakum
Lewishham ... I found that odd, as well. When I was in London last year (Catford) I went to a few music stores, including the one in Lewisham (Peavey, Trace Elliot, and Laney dealer) and I never saw a single Laney tube amp. Weird.
