Much like my Hyperpak, I can't stop playing my Carbon Copy.

I owned a DE-7 and a Guyatone MD-3 before it and all I can say is - no contest.

Boooo. Hissss.

Fair enough. The clip sounds great, I'm just wondering what's the big deal? The price seems great for an analog delay, don't get me wrong, and maybe I'm missing something here - but compared to all the other stuff out there that has extra bells and whistles (DL4, DD-20) I just don't hear the "mojo" that would keep me from paying an extra $40 to get all those other features. But hey, maybe I'm screwy?:idk:

:thu::thu: Right back atcha! I mean, there definitely is a certain warmth and integrity to the sound of your recording. The more I think about it, the more I appreciate the pedal and the price! If someone is after a true analog delay sound, that seems to be an amazing deal. For the rest of us (who don't have as good an ear, and who need variety) there's the DD-20, SMMH, and DL4.

Sometimes I lose sight of the importance of analog and where it fits into all of this stuff. FWIW, my first ever pedal was the Ibanez Delay Champ. I got rid of that before I knew the value of analog delay. I'm not sure what the going rate for that pedal is, but I'm sure if I did know I'd feel like a jackass for whatever price I got on the bay!
