Members Fender&EHX4ever
Regardless of price, Buying a EHX memory man deluxe or a EHX small Clone and a Boss DD3Thanks A DD3 + Small Clone will give you more flexibility than a DMM, but I doubt that you'll be able to replicate a DMM's tone with that combo. So, it boils down to your taste. Do you want the DMM tone, or do you just want chorus/delay with lots of options?
Members chrisn12
I'm just looking for a small amount of Delay/echo with a bit of chorus, I'm going for a knid of Smiths/REM tone.

I like both the Smiths and REM a lot. Which songs in particular are you referring to? Post a YouTube clip, and maybe we can help you identify which effects they are using. Members pinkzep52
The Ibanez DE-7 would probably emulate an analog echo better than the DD3.
Members mike.sartori
Get a DD-7 and a small clone. I don't care for the small clone chorus sound, but if thats the sound you want, that's the one to get.
